Colere is a Certified Alveary School

Alveary is an award-winning curriculum created by the Charlotte Mason Institute that awakens children to delightful living with books, nature, and ideas.

A pedagogy of beauty, care, morality, neurobiology, and sociability.

Our curriculum is designed to align with the inherent ways in which humans learn, ensuring that each student is placed at the center of their educational experience. A curriculum focused on beauty, literature, great ideas, and individualized learning plans for each student*.

We offer two in-person days each week and three homeschool days. We currently serve grades 2-8 and plan to incorporate high school students starting in the 2026/2027 academic school year, adding a third day of classes for high school students at that time.

*In collaboration with families, we meticulously design a personalized learning plan tailored to the individual needs of each child. This comprehensive approach not only fosters a love for learning but also equips students with the skills and confidence necessary to thrive both academically and personally.

Nurturing Deeply Rooted Learners

The ROOTS framework represents our commitment to providing an education that is both rigorous and compassionate, balancing intellectual growth with moral and emotional development. Like a well-tended garden, our pedagogy ensures that students are deeply rooted in virtues that empower them to flourish academically, socially, and spiritually while contributing positively to their communities and beyond.
