Tending the soil of our children’s hearts… and forming the moral imagination

Be
The Grammar stage focuses on laying the foundation of knowledge by emphasizing memorization, foundational skills, and the building blocks of subjects like language, math, and history.
In order to Be, we must remember our origin and end, the grammar of our existence. This is the beginning of all communication — communication from God, who loves us before we love Him. We come from the Father.
-
Think
The Logic stage focuses on critical thinking, reasoning, and making connections between the foundational knowledge gained in the Grammar stage.
In discovering the Father we become Thinkers, we awaken thought in ourselves, which is the following of the light of truth, walking with the Son, leading to the face-to-face knowledge of the Father that only the Son possesses, and those with whom he shares it.

Speak
The Rhetoric stage focuses on the effective expression of knowledge and ideas. The foundational knowledge and skills of the Grammar and Logic stages are further refined and expanded to master communication.
Sharing is done through the Spirit, the Ruah, or the breath of the Father that carries and Speaks the Word. The breath is the atmosphere, the conversation, where we both give and receive.
